Impact Your Community
Each Christmas, we like to give gifts to bring cheer to our neighbors near and far. We call it Project Christmas, and this is an impactful way to contribute through giving this season. Find out about who we’ve partnered with to receive this year: Mosaic Street Ministry, four Austin-based schools and Casa Vallado Children’s Home.
Mosaic Street Ministry
Mosaic Street Ministry aspires to love the forgotten, see the unseen, and bring hope to the streets of Austin by serving the homeless community. Mosaic Street Ministry aims to meet both physical needs, develop friendships, and connect people to a faith-based community by modeling the love of Christ. Donations will assist in providing essential services such as food, clothing, and the gifts that we will give away this Christmas.
Neighboring Schools
At Mosaic, we partner with schools in our local community — Live Oak Elementary, Deerpark Middle, McNeil High, Casey Elementary and Williams Elementary, and also Fort Worth ISD through our campus there — by providing 1-on-1 mentoring, teacher breakfasts, school supplies, and more throughout the year. A financial gift given to these schools will help continue our efforts to show children love and communicate to the school administration our deep appreciation for all they do to impact and love on students often in tough family or financial situations.
The Vallado Project
The Vallado Project provides financial & relational support to organizations caring for and educating vulnerable and at-risk children. Donations will be used to help meet the needs of the children and house moms at Casa Vallado children’s home in Mexico. Casa Vallado helps keep at-risk children off the street, gives them a safe place to call home, and also provides the love, nurture, and education needed for a successful future. Casa Vallado is funded solely by gifts and donations that pay for housing, food, clothing, education, administration, and medical expenses.
